Barry’s primary role over the last 2-3 years has been to address the company culture through its mission, vision and values and training leaders in the building.
Barry Jr. is also the “industry champion” for the Manufacturing Sector Partnership in Northeast Colorado (NECOM). In his leadership role with NECOM, Barry has been instrumental in bringing their successful summer program “Traincation” to middle school students in local communities. He has also worked extensively in introducing students at middle school and high school to manufacturing career pathways through shop tours, speaking engagements in the schools, job fairs, mock interviews and even more importantly, multiple after school and summer job opportunities. Barry believes that industry leaders must be willing to be part of the solution to helping develop talent in our communities.
We believe that manufacturing is challenging, but our community of metalworking leaders have pinpointed these four topics as most likely to keep them up at night: Succession Planning, Technology, Culture, Sales & Marketing. When we connect as a community of leaders, it makes it easier for all of us to get more sleep.
Listen in at noon on Thursday September 13 on the main stage of the grand concourse, as four of your peers share their experiences.
